J’OUVERT ACCESS: For J’ouvert, the bands will be fenced off from spectators. If you do not have on a J’ouvert Mas Band t-shirt and J’ouvert Mas Band wristband, you will not be allowed into the parade with the music and drink trucks. That means, friends and family who have not bought a J’ouvert package CANNOT be with you in the J’ouvert parade.
J’ouvert is held at the Broward Regional Park, 3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill, FL, 33311. Roads and surrounding areas will be blocked off and crowded, so allow enough time to arrive, park and make your way to our trucks. The gates open at 7:00am; music will start at approximately 8:00am.

You must have your ticket and your Gen X wristband collected from GenX Mas camp to enter the Park; The wristband must be worn at all times, do not give it away to anyone. You will need it for entry into the park, access to our J’ouvert band, and to get drinks from the GenX mobile bars. NO REPLACEMENTS.
No drinks will be given to anyone without a wristband AND GenX Immortals t-shirt or bodywear. You will have a breakfast ticket attached to your wristband. Breakfast will be served between 7:00am and 9:00am. No tickets are required for your drinks.
Paint and powder will be distributed on site.
Photographers and videographers will be roaming the band. Participation in the event constitutes consent for you to be filmed or photographed in the parade.
Listen carefully to our Security. They are there to ensure your safety. If you have any questions or concerns at all, let one of them know right away. They will all be wearing black T-shirts with “SECURITY” written on the back.
Please do not hang on to the trucks. NO ONE except authorized personnel with special wristbands will be allowed on the trucks.
You may roam in and out of the band; but remember, anyone without GenX Immortals t-shirt or bodywear AND GenX Immortals wristband will not be permitted to enter the band or the Park. Security will enforce this vigorously.
The parade ends promptly at 3pm. With your wristband you are entitled to remain in the park and enjoy the entertainment Miami Carnival has provided. DO NOT EXIT THE PARK. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RE-ENTER.
