Miami Carnival is the place to be this October, with dozens of exciting events and fetes in the lineup, but there’s one fete in particular that you are guaranteed to suffer a severe case of FOMO from if you miss it.
Conceptualized by Twisted Entertainment, a Barbados-based entertainment, promotions, and event management company, Tipsy Music Festival is bringing the HEAT — or dare I say, ‘Igbo’ and ‘Shayo’— this carnival season with its star-studded lineup— the headliner being the ‘African Giant’ himself, Burna Boy.

Taking place at Bayfront Park, right in the heart of downtown Miami, this year’s Tipsy Music Festival — Oct. 7th, 2022 — is definitely going to be one for the Miami Carnival history books. Be prepared to sing, dance, and fete till you fallin’ down at this concert-style event that will feature not only Burna Boy and his full band, but a diverse array of Dancehall, Afrobeats, and live Soca performances from popular Caribbean artists such as Skinny Fabulous, Voice, Hypasounds and more! But wait — yes, the vibes don’t stop there! The festival lineup also features internationally renowned DJs like DJ Puffy, Tony Mix, Travis World, and Jus Jay. There will also be a food truck village — with vegan options— and multiple bars located throughout the venue. Not to mention, there’s a beautiful view of Biscayne Bay!

#1: WEAR WHITE- TIPSY is an all-white affair, so make sure to step out in your best white outfit.

#2: DRINK RESPONSIBLY- Enjoy your fair share of premium drinks from the bar, but know your limits — If you feel yourself getting a bit too tipsy, go ahead and make sure you are on your ‘Last Last’ drink.
#3: FREE UP YUHSELF- ‘If Yuh Stush Go in de Bush’ — Tipsy Music Festival only comes to Miami once a year, so leave ALL stush behavior at home! Fully immerse yourself in the wonderful world of TIPSY and make it a night to remember!
